Member Assistant Grants are now available from Alpha Chi Omega Foundation:

     Member Assistance Grants are charitable, need-based grants available to collegiate and alumnae members of Alpha Chi Omega in good standing and to persons closely related to an Alpha Chi Omega member who are facing financial difficulty due to changing life circumstances. The amount of each grant will be determined on a case by case basis by the Member Assistance Grants Committee of the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. Awards amounts are based upon funds available during the fiscal year (August 1-July 31). The amount awarded to each individual generally ranges from $500 to $2,000. Grant applications are accepted and evaluated on a continuous basis.

     In keeping with our national altruistic project, which was adopted at Alpha Chi Omega's National Convention in 1992, our mission is to support victims of domestic violence. Our Triangle Alumnae Chapter supports Interact in Raleigh, NC and Family Violence Prevention Center of Orange County in Chapel Hill.  We support these organizations by hosting fundraising and awareness events in the Triangle.  We also donate items such as toiletries, gift cards, and other items throughout the year.




Interact is a private, non-profit, United Way agency that provides safety, support, and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence and rape/sexual assault in Wake County.







The Family Violence Prevention Center (FVPC) is the domestic violence agency serving Orange County.  The mission of FVPC is to prevent and end family violence through direct services and community education.
